Not at all. LoreBrain is designed to be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of writing experience. You can choose from suggested options if you prefer not to write, or express yourself in your own words if you want more control over your character’s actions and dialogue.

Our AI storyteller handles the narrative heavy lifting, ensuring engaging plots and descriptions while giving you control over the key decisions.

LoreBrain can be appropriate for children with parental supervision. Because stories are AI-generated and players can make any choice they want, the content varies widely. Parents should review the scenarios and supervise younger users.

Your stories and progress synchronize across all platforms when you’re signed in, so you can start an adventure on your phone and continue it later on your computer.

LoreBrain is free to download and use, with optional in-app purchases. The in-game currency is called BrainPower. Every choice expends 1 BrainPower and progresses the story.

Free account: 5 BrainPower per day.

In-app purchases: Various BrainPower packages that let you make more choices.

BrainPower can also be earned through gameplay.

There are various BrainPower packages you can purchase. The price per BrainPower depends on the package — bigger packages give a discount. Typically, 1 BrainPower costs about $0.05, but this varies by package.

We do not refund BrainPower that has been purchased.

Getting started takes about a minute:

1. Create a free account or log in with Apple/Google.
2. From your dashboard, click “New Adventure”.
3. Browse available scenarios and select one, or create your own.
4. Create your character by customizing appearance, background, personality, and starting abilities.
5. Click “Begin Adventure” to start your interactive story.

Once your adventure begins, the AI sets the scene and you’ll be prompted to make choices or type responses. Your progress saves automatically.

Character creation is designed to be flexible and simple. You can choose a pre-generated character or create your own.

Basic elements:

• Name
• Background and personal history (optional)
• Appearance
• Starting abilities and skills (if progression mode is enabled)

LoreBrain offers a diverse range of pre-selected scenarios across multiple genres:

• Fantasy: Magic schools, dragon riders, heroic quests, elven realms
• Sci-Fi: Cyberpunk cities, space exploration, futuristic colonies
• Horror: Vampire societies, supernatural mysteries, cosmic horror
• Adventure: Treasure hunting, jungle expeditions, archaeological discoveries
• Historical: Ancient civilizations, medieval courts, pirate adventures
• Modern: Urban settings, detective stories, slice-of-life narratives

Each scenario features its own setting, characters, rules, and progression systems. You can also type in your own universe, so the options are effectively unlimited.

LoreBrain’s optional progression system lets your character evolve throughout your adventure:

• Experience & levels. Gain XP from quests, challenges, and key choices. Accumulate enough to level up.
• Attributes & skills. Allocate points to core attributes (strength, intelligence, charisma, etc.) and unlock skills.
• Abilities. Unlock special abilities that open new dialogue options, actions, or powers.
• Reputation. Your actions affect how factions and characters view you, opening or closing story paths.

The RPG and leveling system is optional — there’s also a purely narrative mode if you just want to enjoy the story.

Yes. Since LoreBrain uses AI to tell stories and craft worlds, you can play in any scenario you can describe.

If you’re experiencing loading issues, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Refresh the page or restart the app — this resolves most temporary loading issues.
2. Check your internet connection — LoreBrain requires a stable connection to generate story content.
3. Clear your browser cache or app cache.
4. Try a different device or browser to identify device-specific issues.

Deleted stories cannot be recovered. They are permanently removed from our database.

We use state-of-the-art AI to keep stories coherent, but with very long stories the AI can sometimes get overwhelmed. If that happens, please reach out and let us know so we can improve the experience.

No — LoreBrain needs internet access to generate story content and images using advanced AI.

There’s a share button you can use to share your story with friends. In the future, we’ll add a feature allowing others to play the scenarios you share.

LoreBrain’s stories are endless. Unlike traditional stories with a fixed ending, LoreBrain stories are more like living worlds — NPCs feel alive, the world reacts, and you can keep playing as long as you want.
